The five-day Majalis e Aza is organized to gather the community members on one platform for sharing the message of Karbala. GIYF is honored to be organizing this event for the last eleven years at different locations. The volunteers for the event leave no stone unturned to manage the series of Majalis on the specific dates. This event plays a steering role in spreading the spiritual lesson of Karbala and Muharram and offers the realistic ground to members for countering their social issues and mitigating their complexities by learning and increasing their knowledge. The topics of Majalis, therefore, cover multiple dominant social issues relevant to the teachings of Ahlul Bait (a.s).
The five-day (Khamsa) Majalis e Aza is organized to commemorate the tragic event of Karbala and to offer our humble condolences to the Ahlul Bait A.S., especially our Imam al Asr (ATFS). The dates of this event are fixed from 25th to 29th Muharram ul Haram. Prominent Islamic scholars are invited to address the gathering to spread the Islamic teachings. Each program is followed by Matamdari and Niaz. The youth of the community are specially encouraged to participate in this mourning event. This event contributes to boost confidence in the youth and develops harmony among the community at the same time. This event (Majalis) is organized in Soldier Bazar area at Sheikh Ramat Ali Hall near Mehfile Shah-e-Khurasan. This event also reflects our endeavor to promote and develop community members and unroll the Islamic teachings to the coming generations.
